How Tyler Goff Increased Profitability, Margins, and Goal Achievement in His Business

"The tools and the systems that he's given us have allowed us to hit our goals and to really take our team to where we want it to go."

Tyler Goff and his partner Stacie Peterson (Sioux Falls, SD) started with another real estate coach five years ago. They didn't feel like they were reaching their goals of exiting the sales and running the team from a high level. This was actually before Lars even started the B-School. Now, two years later, they've been with him since.

"We just kind of on a whim sent him a Facebook message, and a couple weeks later we were meeting with him in his office," Tyler says. "Just really dissecting our business, what our goals were, where we were currently at, what we needed to do to hit our goals, and that was kind of the start of our coaching relationship with Lars."

His team now has the systems in place that they need to keep the sales funnel moving forward, whether he's there or not.

"Our team has changed because it's actually become like a real business now," Tyler said. "The tools and the systems that he's given us have allowed us to hit our goals and to really take our team to where we want it to go."

Lars teaches profitability and the margins better than any coach Tyler has worked with. One of the first things Lars did for Tyler and his team was restructuring their commissions and got their profitability up to a highly-productive level. Lars also introduced their team to an invaluable tool called the equity evaluation. Tyler's team now uses it on every listing appointment to go over pricing with sellers,

"It's an awesome tool, and it's something that's super easy to plug in," Tyler says. "That's a tool that's really been a game-changer for us."

Tyler attended Lars' Spring 2016 Intensive on leadership, an essential topic for the role he's in right now. Just taking two days to focus on leadership and the steps to focus on moving forward is something he'd never do on his own, but this Intensive will give him the chance.

"Lars is always kind of one step ahead of where we're thinking," Tyler says. "We've got our homework cut out for us for the next quarter. It's just going to allow us to keep getting bigger and better at what we do."
