How B-School Helped Andrew Lamb Get It Right the Second Time Around

"It’s actionable steps, and implementation, and practical tools that you can use in your business so that you can go back and have things in place so that your business is better off.”

Andrew Lamb got his start in real estate in 2011. By his own admission, it was a tough time. Equity sales were way down. It was all short sales for closers. Despite this, he started getting buyer leads and was eventually reaching 100 a month. The pace, however, began to be overwhelming.

“I didn’t know how to handle all that. Didn’t know the scripts. Didn’t know, really, how to write anything. By 2012, when all those foreclosures and short sales disappeared, I was forced out of business. Had to get a full-time job to support my family. I was recently married and just had a baby.”

Around 2013, he got a referral from someone who was still licensed and managed to close a particularly lucrative deal. This success caused him to switch back into real estate with full force. After he decided to build his own team, he bought a buyer platform from Commissions Inc. (CINC). He realized after getting his leads back up, though, that he was headed down the same path as before and needed a better business plan. Thus, he started his business coach search and found Lars.

“I saw that Lars was really involved in a lot of the coaching programs I was looking at initially, but had done well above, you know, the production of everyone else in those programs. So I figured if you’re going to go somewhere, go to someone who’s already taken it all in and packaged it just for you. That’s why I went to Lars.”

Now, Lamb is feeling considerably less overwhelmed. He has four buyer’s agents and two ISAs. With Lars’ lead management protocol, he can better focus on building the listing side out while keeping his team accountable and knowing the buyer’s side is taken care. Most importantly, he can attend Lars’ intensives and learn more about the process of building his business.

“When I come to these events, it’s not only topics that no one else ever talks about, but it’s actionable steps, and implementation, and practical tools that you can use in your business so that you can go back and, a week later, have things in place so that your business is better off.”
