Welcome New Client Robert Tucker

Rob, how did you hear about Lars?
Robert Tucker
(Sarasota, FL)

Referrals. Actually, the first time we heard about him we did an online webinar, but then I lost track of it for a few months. Then I ended up going to a real estate event, and some of our really good friends in real estate told me about Lars and his coaching program.

What ultimately motivated you to reach out when you did?

The results they were getting, honestly. A lot of us had been in the same boat, and had some of the same challenges and issues. Listening to them and finding out what Lars's focus was, and how he did things and what he did. Their quick results as it relates to those things were what made me do the call.

What issues are you hoping Lars can address in your business?

Business systems. I know it's kind of the buzzword, you need systems to grow, implement, and keep track of. But so many people don't really have the business side of the systems. Anybody can sell a house, or anybody can list a house. But to grow a business within real estate is a whole lot more difficult. It seems like from what we've seen in the coaching programs I've been in before, there's a lot of chasing squirrels in the industry. It's, "Implement this," or "Go try that," and that's not where Lars comes from based on what we've seen.

It's about specific things, specific pillars, making sure you're doing them well. As he says going deep not wide in those, and making sure they are repeatable systems to get you where you're going. That was the big reason why we're doing it. We've got tons of scripts and dialogues. We've got tons of ways to go sell a house. What we don't have and what you don't see - and what we've seen just through this brief introduction to Lars - is how to run it as a business. How to really have the accountability processes, the systems to do it well, and to hold not only myself accountable but also our team.

Could you summarize where you're at with your business? What does your team look like, and how is it structured?

Yeah, although this may change over the next few days; you never know. Right now we've got 3 buyers agents, we have 1 ISA, we have myself, and we have a lead admin person. We also outsource. We have an outsourced Contract to Close Coordinator.

And you mentioned you'd done some real estate coaching in the past?

Oh yes, a lot.

And you think the key difference with Lars would be the focus on growing a business with systems?

Yeah, and it seemed like he was aligned with what I want to do. My goal in the business is not to have to be in the business and work as an actual agent too much longer. I would like to be able to step out. I would like to be able to spend time with my family, see my son's soccer games, watch my daughter's horseback competitions, have the ability to do that without the financial stress we've incurred in the past. Lars has the systems and has actually done what we want to do, so that's why we're here.

If we were sitting here 2 or 3 years from today, what would have had to have happened for you to feel like you were successful with this program?

The ability to step out and maybe only come into the business once or twice a month, and have it so that it is running like a machine, growing to where our 10-year trajectory is, and I don't have to be involved in all of the day-to-day operations and decisions. That would be a success.

Is there anyone in particular we can thank for your business?

Yeah, John Mikesh and Jason Secor.

Anything else you want to add before we wrap up?

We are extremely excited. We're glad to have found someone who aligns with us and really listens to what we want to do and where we want to go. And it's someone who's done the same thing. It's someone we can actually model, who's exactly where we want to be. We're excited.
