Welcome New Client Brian Curtis

How did you hear about Lars?

Through Facebook - I saw some people friend him, so I watched one of his things that was on Facebook.

What made you decide to reach out when you did?

We have a common thought path. I'm a fan of Tony Robbins, and I could see that he had a lot of that similar thinking. I like the idea that he seemed to think big, and I liked the idea of removing myself eventually from my business.

Could you describe where you're at with your business?

In 2014, it was me and my wife - mostly me; my wife just filled in. We did 82 transaction sides, a little over $10 million in GCI. So we did tons of transactions at not necessarily the best price point. As of December of last year we hired an assistant. We have a full-time executive assistant who's been with us for about 2 months now. And as of January 1st we hired a buyer's agent. So that's the structure of our team right now.

What are the focal points you're hoping Lars can address in your business?

I want systematization, and we're working on some ROI ideas so that we can make sure that we're getting maximum return for the amount of money that we're spending. Mostly systems - for buyers, for sellers, to maximize our time initially with the staff that we have and then build a bigger and efficient team from that point forward.

Have you done any real estate coaching in the past?

I've done individual life coaching, and I've done group real estate coaching. I've not done individual one-on-one. With Lars, I felt like I was in tune with somebody who was thinking big, and still working in real estate. Not just somebody who was successful 10 years ago, but is currently being successful. Someone who I'd like to model.

What does long-term success look like to you?

My goal is to take my last appointment with a buyer or a seller in 2016. Moving forward, I could manage, coach, lead my team. I'm not sure how many hours a week that looks like. Then pursue some other endeavors that I'm interested in. I'm actually interested in eventually becoming a coach; that's something that's always been interesting to me. So things like that.
